- Prerequisites — Enable Shopware Show product reviews in storefront (Settings → Basic information), activate reviews per sales channel, and ensure scheduled tasks/cron are running. For JSON-LD, add JSON_LD_DATA=1 to .env and clear cache.
- Plugin settings — Configure under Settings → System → Plugins → Advanced Product Reviews. Settings can be set globally or per sales channel.
- Reviews — Set max photos (1–5), auto-approve (on/off), video upload and size limit. Enable admin reminders for unpublished reviews (default: after 7 days).
- Review request emails — Set delay after delivery (default 7 days), delivery trigger state (default shipped), and whether to skip customers who already reviewed. Emails are sent via Flow Builder event hatslogic.review_request.send (template editable under Email templates).
- Q&A — Enable/disable guest questions, auto-publish questions and answers. Q&A appears as a tab on product pages; manage under Catalogues → Product Q&A. Guest email is stored for admin only — document in your privacy policy if guest questions are enabled.
- Storefront — Toggle star ratings in listings (requires Shopware reviews enabled) and data protection consent checkbox on review and Q&A forms (recommended: on).
- Moderation — Under Catalogues → Reviews: approve, reject, or flag reviews; view photos/video. Assign Advanced product reviews Viewer/Editor roles under Users & permissions.
- CMS widgets — Add Product reviews block in Shopping Experiences. Choose display mode: Carousel, Grid, Rating badge, or Photo gallery. Optionally pick specific reviews or a product; on product pages the current product is used automatically.
- Data cleanup — Automatic daily/hourly tasks remove old invitation logs and abandoned uploads (default retention 90 days, upload grace 24 hours). Configure under the Data cleanup card.
- SEO / JSON-LD — Set max reviews in structured data (1–50) and whether to include UGC images. Requires approved reviews, storefront reviews enabled, and JSON_LD_DATA=1 in .env.
