Setup & Configuration

• Obtain and install the Odoo module
  Contact us to receive the intero_shopware_odoo_connector module.
  Once you have it, install it in your Odoo 19 instance via the Apps menu or by adding it to your addons path.
  Make sure the OCA dependencies connector, queue_job and component_event are available in your addons path as well.
  
  
• Install this app in Shopware
  Download and install the Intero Odoo Connector app in your Shopware 6 instance via the Extension Manager.
  No further configuration is required on the Shopware side.
  
  
• Create a Shopware API integration
  In your Shopware Administration, go to Settings → System → Integrations and create a new integration.
  Grant it sufficient API permissions for products, customers, orders, deliveries, stock, taxes, payment and shipping methods, promotions, units of measure, currencies and countries.
  Note the generated Client ID and Client Secret.
  
  
• Configure the Shopware backend in Odoo
  In Odoo, navigate to Shopware → Configuration → Backends and create a new backend record.
  Enter your Shopware instance URL, the Client ID, and the Client Secret from the previous step.
  Select the Odoo warehouse for stock export and (optionally) override the dedicated import user.
  Leave the toggles Export Stock and Export Order Status disabled for now – activate them only after the mappings are complete.
  
  
• Import base master data
  From the backend record, run:    
  • Import Countries
  • Import Currencies
      These are required for tax resolution and pricelist matching.
  
  
• Configure field mappings
  Open the backend record and load the available mappings from Shopware for each mapping category (payment methods, shipping methods, taxes, units of measure, currencies, promotions). Review the pre-filled suggestions and complete any missing assignments.
  
  
• Run the initial product catalog import
  Trigger the following actions on the backend record, in this order:    
  • Import Attributes
  • Import Categories
  • Import Products (templates incl. attribute values)
  • Import Variants
  
  
• Import customers and orders
  Trigger:    
  • Import Customers
  • Import Orders
  Subsequent runs are incremental: customers are filtered by Shopware updatedAt, orders by orderDateTime, both based on the cut-off datetime stored on the backend.
  
  
• Monitor jobs
  All imports and exports run asynchronously on the dedicated root.shopware Odoo Queue Job channel and can be monitored under the Odoo app Job Queue.
  All API calls to Shopware are recorded under Shopware → API Request Logs for full audit traceability.
  
  
• Enable continuous synchronisation
  Once the initial imports look good and all mappings are complete:    
  • On the backend, enable Export Stock – stock changes in Odoo are then pushed to your Shopware store automatically (one consolidated export per product). Optionally trigger an initial full transfer via Export All Stock on the Exports tab.
  • On the backend, enable Export Order Status – order, delivery and payment status changes (including shipment tracking numbers) are then pushed to Shopware automatically.
  • Activate the needed scheduled actions delivered with the module under Settings → Technical → Scheduled Actions and adjust the execution interval as needed:        
    • Shopware: Import Customers (daily)
    • Shopware: Import Orders (hourly)
    • Shopware: Vacuum Request Logs (daily)
