Catch import issues before they reach the shop

Import Guard checks CSV, XML and JSON/API import data before it is imported into Shopware. The extension is built for merchants, agencies and e-commerce teams that regularly receive product data, variants, prices or stock from ERP, PIM, API or supplier systems.

Instead of looking for import damage afterwards, Import Guard highlights typical issues upfront: missing required fields, invalid number formats, negative prices, duplicates, unknown columns and suspicious stock values. Each finding includes row, field, severity and a concrete fix hint.

Practical value for merchants and agencies

A broken import can damage product pages, set wrong prices or make stock data unreliable. Import Guard reduces that risk with a clear validation step before importing. Agencies can assess customer data faster, merchants receive a practical to-do list and support teams get a copyable report.

Does Import Guard run the import itself?

No. Import Guard is a preflight check and does not modify shop data. The actual import still runs through your existing Shopware, ERP or PIM process.

The Store package now ships the complete tests/ directory including fixtures, together with phpunit.xml.dist and phpstan.neon, so the declared PHPUnit setup can be executed straight from the package.
Added automated tests for the JSON/API path: list, single object and malformed payload.
Added automated tests for the XML path: a full import document as a fixture, the record elements product, item and row, and unreadable XML.
Added automated tests for the import/export stall diagnostics: log mapping, scheduled-task filtering, queue backlog age and unreadable queue backends.
Added automated tests for variant handling: duplicate detection independent of option order and casing, a negative case with genuinely different options, and a missing parent_number reported as a required field.
Source maps, release tooling and development documentation are no longer shipped with the Store package.

Verified Shopware's default advanced-prices profile against the core migration and added a realistic fixture regression test.
Documented PHP 8.2 as the explicit minimum and rebuilt both the Shopware 6.6 Webpack and Shopware 6.7 Vite bundles.
