About the Extension

Product Price Trend Timeline makes price development visible where buying decisions happen: directly on the product detail page. Customers can review how a product price has moved over time instead of relying on a single current price point.

This creates more transparency in promotions, helps explain temporary discounts, and supports trust during comparison-heavy purchase journeys. The timeline focuses on the most relevant period for day-to-day selling by showing the latest six months.

How it works in daily operations

As soon as a product price is changed in administration, the plugin records the updated value and keeps a history for each currency. On the storefront, this history is rendered as a clean visual chart inside the product detail area, so shoppers can quickly understand pricing phases.

For products with little or no history, the plugin still provides a stable visual baseline so the chart area remains consistent on the page and can grow naturally as more price changes are recorded.
