About the Extension

Your customers' purchases at a glance

Regular customers and business buyers want to know what they ordered, how much they spent and what they need again. Purchase Overview & Reorder adds a page "Purchase overview" to the customer account that answers exactly that: total spent, number of orders, average order value and favourite category, for the last 12 months, the current or previous year, any single year, all time or a date range of their own.

A sentence compares the figures with the same period of the previous year, for example "That is 75 % more than in the same period of the previous year". Bar charts show the spending per month and per year with the values on the bars; on phones a clear table takes their place.

Reorder in one click

The products a customer orders most often appear as your shop's usual product boxes, with the quantity of the last order already set. "Add all to cart" puts every available product into the cart at its last ordered quantity and opens the off-canvas cart, exactly like any other add-to-cart in your shop.

Only real purchases count

Only paid, partially paid, authorised and partially refunded orders are counted. Cancelled, refunded, charged back and fully returned orders are left out, and orders that are not paid yet are listed separately. Partial refunds recorded by the payment method and completed returns of Shopware Commercial are deducted automatically. Orders in other currencies are converted with the exchange rate stored with each order and the current rate.

Exports for the accounting

Customers download their complete order history as a CSV file that opens directly in Excel, or a PDF of the selected period in A4 landscape. Above the order list they see a summary of the current year with its own export.

Also in the administration

A tab "Purchases" on the customer detail page shows you the same figures, charts and frequently bought products across all sales channels. A dashboard card tells you how often the overview, the reorder function and the exports are used.

Which orders are counted?

Orders whose payment is paid, partially paid, authorised or partially refunded (minus the recorded refund). Cancelled, refunded, charged back and fully returned orders are left out; orders that are not paid yet are shown separately as open orders.

Do I need Shopware Commercial?

No. Partial refunds recorded by the payment method and, with Shopware Commercial, completed returns are deducted automatically; orders whose deliveries are all marked as returned are left out.

How are different currencies handled?

Orders in the customer's current currency keep their amounts. Orders in other currencies are converted with the exchange rate stored with the order and the current rate of the customer's currency.

Does the plugin change the order list?

No. It only adds a short summary of the current year above the standard order list.

Does it work with headless storefronts?

Yes. Overview, teaser, CSV, PDF and reorder are available as Store API routes.
