Every change in your shop, traceable at a glance

A price is suddenly wrong, a category has disappeared or a payment method was switched off – and nobody knows who did it. Logger answers these questions in seconds. It keeps a complete audit log of everything that is created, changed or deleted in your shop and shows for every entry who made the change, when it happened, where it came from and what the value was before and after.

The log is useful for every team that works in the Administration: shop managers clear up unexpected changes, customer service sees how an order or customer account was edited, and owners keep track of what agencies, freelancers and connected systems do in the shop.

Who, what, when – with old and new values

Each entry lists the changed fields with their previous and their new value. Instead of cryptic IDs you see readable names, for example the tax rate, the manufacturer or the order, payment and delivery status. Translations are shown together with their language, category assignments as "added" or "removed", and dependent data such as prices, addresses or order line items is linked to the record it belongs to.

Changes are recorded no matter who makes them: Administration users including staff with restricted roles, integrations and apps, customers placing orders, console commands, scheduled tasks and other background processes. The user name and display name are stored with the entry, so the log stays readable even after a user account or integration has been deleted. Administration logins and placed orders are recorded as well.

Find the right entry quickly

The audit log has its own area in the Administration settings. Search by record name, number or user and narrow the list down by date range, type of actor, individual user or integration, record type, action and source. A click on an entry opens the full list of changes together with all other changes saved in the same step, so you see the whole picture of one save at once.

Prices are shown per currency with gross and net amounts, and every field carries the label you know from the Administration. For further analysis or documentation, the current filter result can be exported as a CSV file with one click, with column headers in the language of your Administration and ready to open in Excel.

History right where you work

A change history card appears on the detail pages of products, categories, customers and orders and in the sidebar of the shopping experience designer. It shows the latest changes of the record and its parts, and a link opens the complete history in the audit log.

Built with data protection in mind

Passwords, access keys, tokens and similar secrets are never stored – the log only notes that they changed. Long texts such as descriptions or HTML content are kept as a short preview with their length. No IP addresses are recorded. Old entries are removed automatically after a retention period you choose, and the log cannot be edited or deleted through the API, not even by administrators.
