Not every visitor should see your prices. Dealer shops, wholesale catalogues and B2B stores often want to present their full range to everyone, but reveal prices and online ordering only to approved customers. Hide Prices by Customer Group does exactly that: you choose which customer groups see no prices, decide whether guests see them, and the shop adapts automatically.
Prices for the right customers only
Customers in the groups you select see "Price on request" instead of a price. Visitors who are not logged in can be shown a "Log in to see prices" link, which leads them straight to the login page. Everyone else, for example your dealers, keeps seeing prices and buys as usual. Guest orders without a customer account count as guests, so a quick guest registration does not reveal prices.
The settings apply per sales channel. A retail storefront can stay fully public while a dealer storefront in the same shop hides its prices.
No buying without prices
When prices are hidden, the add-to-cart button and quantity selection can disappear as well, and adding products to the cart is rejected. You can also block the cart page, checkout and ordering. The header cart total is then hidden, and the off-canvas cart shows a short notice, or a login button for guests, instead of totals and the checkout button. Both rules also apply to headless clients that use the Store API, so orders cannot be placed around the storefront.
Prices really stay hidden
Hiding a number on the product page is not enough if it still appears elsewhere. The plugin removes prices from product listings, search suggestions and product detail pages. It also removes them from Open Graph tags, structured data for search engines and analytics data. The listing price filter is removed too, so the price range of a category cannot be read from it.
Cached pages for guests, customers without prices and customers with prices are kept apart, so a dealer's prices are never served to a retail customer from the cache. Customers' order history always shows the prices they actually paid.
Flexible texts and options
The replacement text, the login link and all notices are snippets you can change per language. Optionally, products with a price of 0.00 can show the replacement text for every visitor, which is useful for items you only sell on request.
