About the Extension

GHS Hazard Labels – Display Hazard Pictograms in Compliance with Regulations

If you sell chemicals, cleaning agents, paints, coatings, or other hazardous substances in your online store, the CLP Regulation (EC No. 1272/2008) requires you to clearly display the applicable GHS hazard pictograms. This plugin integrates all 9 official GHS symbols directly into your Shopware 6 store – no programming knowledge required and fully configurable via the Shopware Administration.

Configurable Per Product

Each of the nine hazard pictograms can be assigned individually to a product using Custom Fields in the product administration. No need for category-based assignments or global settings.

Flexible Display Positions

Choose where the hazard pictograms should appear on the product detail page:

  • Below the quantity selector and Buy button (Buy Widget)

  • As a dedicated tab in the product description section

  • Optionally also on product listing and category pages

Fully Customizable Appearance

  • Three icon sizes: Small (40 px), Medium (60 px), Large (80 px)

  • Display as a horizontal row or grid layout

  • Option to show or hide the pictogram labels

Automatic Language Synchronization

When a GHS pictogram is assigned to a product in one language, the plugin automatically synchronizes the setting across all language versions of that product. This ensures consistent hazard labeling without additional manual effort.
