CC/BCC/Reply-To for Flow Builder Emails – Global & Per Flow
This plugin extends the Shopware Flow Builder action “Send email” by adding the missing fields CC, BCC and Reply-To. It allows you to define central default addresses that are automatically used when sending emails – and to override them individually per flow if required.
Purpose
Many shops require additional recipients or a fixed reply address for automated emails (order confirmations, status updates, support emails, B2B processes). By default, the Flow Builder email action does not provide a convenient, consistent solution for this. This plugin delivers more control, cleaner processes and fewer manual workarounds.
How it works
- Global configuration: Define default values for CC, BCC and Reply-To in the plugin configuration (optionally per sales channel).
- Inheritance in the Flow Builder: These values are automatically inherited in the “Send email” action by default.
- Per-flow override: If a flow requires different settings, you can disable inheritance and define custom CC/BCC/Reply-To values – specifically for that flow, without changing the global configuration.
Typical use cases
- Support & service: Send all customer emails in CC to support or a ticket system, while setting Reply-To to the correct service address.
- B2B processes: Send B2B order confirmations to additional internal recipients (e.g. sales/back office) or different teams per sales channel.
- Logistics & operations: Send shipping or status emails with CC to warehouse or logistics providers, while Reply-To still points to customer service.
- Different recipients per flow: Escalation flows with a different BCC (e.g. quality management) without affecting other flows.
- Separate brands/channels: Use individual default addresses per sales channel so replies always reach the correct inbox.
