• What does generated by cronjob mean? What happens if this is not enabled? If "Generated by cronjob" is selected in the configuration, the feed is automatically generated and made available via the feed URL at a regular interval specified in the "Interval in seconds" field. If this option is deactivated, the feed is being generated as soon as idealo retrieves the data via the URL.
• Can i delete the additional fields? The additional fields can not be deleted by hand, they are installed and implemented in combination with the App. If the App is being deleted, the additional fields are deleted as well automatically.
• What are the technical field names of the additional fields and the preset values? • Where can I set idealo specific information? In order to fill the feed with idealo specific information that can be set in addition to the standard, additional fields are created in the products under Specifications -> Additional fields when the app is successfully activated. The group of additional fields is called „idealo product feed" and can be filled with product-specific information.
• What is the relevance of the selection of the sales channel and product group? The sales channel and the product group in combination form the filter of the products to be transferred via the feed. A product group should be set up accordingly under Catalogs -> Dynamic product groups, otherwise no products can be transferred.
• Where can I update the configuration of the feed? Once the app is installed, the configuration can be accessed directly in the app. The configuration of the app can be found under: Extensions -> My Extensions -> Click on the 3 dots next to the app -> Configure. The configuration of the app can then be done here. After successfully saving the configuration, the update of the products for the feed is necessary. To trigger this, just click on any product in the product overview. On the product detail overview you will find 3 dots on the top right, by clicking on them you can update the configuration. The second possibility can be found in the entire product overview, here you can check a checkbox of any product. Here you will also find 3 points in the upper right corner, by clicking on them you can also update the configuration with one click with the same functionality as in the product detail overview. After executing the update, the feed is being generated for the first time or generally updated when updating the configuration after the initial setup. After the update, the new configuration of the app takes effect. The configuration of the app only takes effect for all products after successfully updating the feed via the options that were just mentioned.
• What is the effect of deactivating or deleting the App? As soon as the app is deactivated, the product feed is no longer regenerated by the app. The Feed is then not reachable anymore. Also the URL of the feed is no longer available in the app. When deleting the app, the additional fields created by the app that are specific for idealo are also removed, including any information maintained in these fields.
• Where can i find the Errors of the Products listed at idealo? You have 2 options to see your Errors, on the one hand by generating an Offer Report directly in your Shopware Administration and on the other hand via the idealo Business Account. • Where can i create an idealo Business Account? To provide the Feed that is created by the App, please contact your idealo Account Manager.
