About the Extension

Additional fields in Shopware are incredibly useful for adding extra functionality. However, they are limited to one language by default. When you switch languages in the shop, the additional fields are not loaded, and any additional functionality is not visible. Our plugin solves this issue by inheriting the additional fields across all languages. You only need to configure them in the default language, and the plugin takes care of the rest automatically. If different values are maintained for other languages, the plugin automatically disables inheritance and loads the content from the respective language. Managing additional fields has never been easier and more efficient!

We also added automatic writing. When you change a custom field's value in your default language, the plugin can write that value into the other languages for you right away, instead of only filling it in when someone views the page. This is optional and works per field, so you decide which fields should update automatically and which shouldn't. Every other field stays exactly as you set it.
