About the Extension

The Problem

Shopware does not offer a built-in way to cancel individual items or partial quantities of an order and generate a legally compliant document. Until now, merchants had to perform full cancellations or manually create credit notes.

The Solution

KawsStorno extends the admin order management with a full-featured partial cancellation function. Directly from the documents card of an order, you can selectively choose items and quantities, generate a preview, and create a partial cancellation invoice with a single click.

How It Works

Open an order with an existing invoice
Select the document type "Partial Cancellation Invoice"
In the modal, choose the desired invoice as the reference document
Check the items to cancel and set the quantity
Optional: Cancel shipping costs as well
Review preview → Create partial cancellation

The plugin automatically adds negative credit line items to the order, recalculates the order total, restores stock levels, and generates a professional PDF document.

Tax Compliant

All calculations are broken down by tax rate. Net and gross amounts are listed separately per VAT rate – perfect for accounting.

Safety Mechanisms

Already cancelled quantities are detected and excluded from selection
Full cancellation is prevented – at least one item must remain in the order
Orders with only one product (quantity 1) are not eligible for partial cancellation
