About the Extension

KILB Product Quiz – Interactive Product Recommendations for Your Customers

The KILB Product Quiz extension acts as a product advisor:

It guides your customers playfully through your product range. The quiz evaluates visitors' answers and suggests products, categories, and landing pages that are a perfect match.

How It Works

The quiz can be individually designed to recommend products based on user preferences, questions, or needs. You can configure any number of questions and answers. Answers can have different types (single select, multi select, etc.).

Each answer can be assigned a score for a product, category, or landing page.

The total score after completing a quiz then determines which items are recommended and in what order.

This means that each visitor receives a tailored selection of products, landing pages, or categories that simplifies the purchasing decision. Alternatively, the app can be configured to redirect directly to the product, category, or landing page with the highest score.

AI

The following AI features are available. The use of AI is optional and does not affect your customers' data privacy:

1. Quiz Configuration: To save time, it is possible to create a quiz including the products/landing pages/categories available for recommendations — without having to configure questions and answers yourself. If the descriptions of the products/landing pages/categories are well-maintained, questions and answers including appropriate scores can be generated with a single click via AI.
2. Translations: All text strings within a quiz (quiz title, questions, answers, etc.) are translatable. You only need to initially maintain the text in the fallback language. If you run your store in just one language, that is already sufficient. If your store is multilingual, you can either manually maintain each translation or generate all translations with a single click via AI. The extension automatically detects which translations in which languages are needed and still missing based on your Shopware configuration.

Tracking (TBD)

All interactions that occur while completing a quiz are stored purely for technical reasons.

This stored data is used to provide you with a detailed tracking overview in the Shopware administration area.

This allows you to answer questions such as:

- How often was a quiz or quizzes started, completed, or abandoned within a specific time period?

- Which answers were given most frequently?

? All recorded data is stored exclusively in your store's database.

Cloud

The extension is available for both self-hosted and cloud environments.

Due to the option of deployment in a cloud environment, access to a server backend provided by us is required.

? This server backend is used exclusively in the Shopware administration area.

This means there is no communication between your customers' browsers and our server.

The only data we store on our servers is data for identifying, authenticating, and authorizing your store.

? We do not store any customer data or configuration data. All data from your store, including quiz configurations, remains on your server.
