About the Extension

Mandatory from 27 September 2026

EU Implementing Regulation 2025/1960 requires all B2C online sellers in the EU to display a standardized warranty label on every product.


Warranty Label (Annex I)

  • Official EU warranty label as original image in German and English versions
  • Modal popup with enlarged view on label click
  • Compact mode: label initially collapsed, expandable on click
  • Second-hand goods mode: notice about shortened warranty period (min. 1 year)


GARAN Guarantee Label (Annex II)

  • Official GARAN label with article number, brand, guarantee duration, calendar icon and QR code
  • Multilingual footer in all 24 official EU languages
  • Configurable per product via custom fields or globally as fallback


Listing Integration

  • Compact warranty badge on category and listing pages
  • GARAN badge alongside the warranty label in listings
  • Modal popup also available in listings on badge click


Configuration

  • Position selectable: above/below price or below buy button
  • Customer group exclusion (e.g. B2B customers)
