Stop form spam without annoying your customers
Bots fill in your contact form, sign up for your newsletter and create fake customer accounts. Cloudflare Turnstile stops them without puzzles or pictures of traffic lights: most visitors only see a short "Verifying…" and a check mark, or nothing at all. Turnstile is free, and your shop doesn't have to run through Cloudflare.
Protects the Shopware forms
The plugin adds Cloudflare Turnstile to the captchas in Settings > Basic information, next to the honeypot and Google reCAPTCHA. Switch it on, and every form that uses the Shopware captchas is protected:
- Customer registration and guest checkout
- Contact form and newsletter sign-up in your Shopping Experiences
- the revocation request form
- turning a guest order into a customer account
It also works for forms that open in a modal or off-canvas, or that load after the page.
Customers keep what they typed
A check can fail, for example when a customer took a long time to fill in the registration form and the check expired. The form then shows a clear message below the widget, in the customer's language, and keeps everything they entered. No error page, no starting over.
Fits your shop
- Appearance: always visible, visible once the check starts, or only when Cloudflare needs an interaction, so most visitors never see it.
- Theme: automatic (follows the visitor's light or dark mode), light or dark.
- Size: normal, compact, or flexible to fill the width of the form.
- Language: the widget uses the language of the sales channel, not the browser.
- Per sales channel: other keys and settings for every sales channel.
Safe by default
- Fails closed: when Cloudflare can't be reached or a key is wrong, a submission is rejected, never let through.
- Never blocks your shop: the check gives up after 5 seconds.
- Easy to troubleshoot: a wrong or missing secret key is logged with Cloudflare's error code.
- Privacy: Cloudflare Turnstile is listed under the technically required cookies in the cookie consent, and the installation manual explains what to add to your privacy statement. Turnstile doesn't read form entries.

The settings and the messages for customers are available in English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Danish.
