Duplicate Shipping Methods – Faster, Safer, Complete

  Managing multiple similar shipping methods is time-consuming: every new method needs to be   created from scratch, filled with pricing rules, translated into each language, and assigned to   the right sales channels. Copy Shipping solves this with a single click.   The plugin duplicates an existing shipping method completely – including all associated data –   and safely sets the copy to inactive so nothing accidentally appears in checkout.

Who needs this plugin?

  Shops operating in multiple countries, markets, or for different customer groups often manage   many similar shipping methods (e.g. "Express DE", "Express AT", "Express CH"). Until now, each   variant had to be built from scratch. Copy Shipping eliminates that effort   entirely and reduces the risk of typos and configuration mistakes.

What gets copied?

• Price matrix: All pricing tiers, calculation rules and quantity thresholds are copied 1:1.
• Translations: All language-specific names, descriptions and tracking URLs are copied for every configured language.
• Tags: All linked tags are preserved.
• Sales channels: The duplicate is assigned to the same sales channels as the original.
• Availability rules, delivery times, tax classes & media: All associations are fully transferred.

Where can the feature be triggered?

• List view: Via the context menu directly in the shipping methods overview.
• Detail view: Via a dedicated "Duplicate" button next to the Save button.

Safety & Convenience

• Duplicates are always created as inactive – nothing appears in checkout by accident.
• Automatic unique naming: the display name gets a "(Copy)" suffix, the technical name is generated to be unique.
• Full support for Shopware ACL permissions – the feature is only visible and usable by authorized users.
• No plugin configuration required – ready to use immediately after installation.
