About the Extension

Checkout Payment Lock protects selected payment methods from being changed after the order has been placed. This keeps sensitive or process-critical payment methods stable, traceable and reliable throughout the post-order flow.

You enable the lock directly on each payment method inside the standard Shopware administration. The plugin automatically creates the required custom field set and integrates into the existing payment method workflow without adding a separate admin module.

The protection does not stop at the interface. It also enforces the rule in the relevant Store API flow. At the same time, retrying the same payment method remains possible, so open or failed payments can still be completed cleanly.
