About the Extension

The Search Placeholder extension enhances the default search with a fully customizable search input placeholder and an optional typing animation effect that brings your search bar to life!

You can easily define your own search placeholder text in different languages and even activate a typing animation effect — all configurable directly from the Shopware administration. Adding a placeholder text with comma separated texts and activating the typing animation effect, then the typing effect will cycles through the multiple placeholder texts.

Use the customizable search placeholder to guide your customers, highlight product categories, or inspire new searches.
