About the Extension

Do you have many items in your product lineup that don’t yet have product images, or products that look very similar? The default Shopware fallback image (often just a simple placeholder icon) significantly disrupts the visual flow of your store listings, looks unprofessional, and—in the worst case—can lead to a drop in your conversion rate as customer trust declines.

With this app, you can replace the unappealing default placeholder image in no time at all. You have the option not only to set a global default image for your entire online store but also to configure specific images for each individual category. If there are no images in the “Digital Cameras” category, display a nice camera icon; in the “Accessories” category, show a suitable cable motif.

This ensures a consistent brand identity and prevents cumulative layout shifts in the product grids of your product categories.

A missing product image shouldn’t be a stylistic break in your online store. Shopware’s default “No Picture Available” image often disrupts your store’s carefully crafted design and can come across as unprofessional to customers.
