The standard category navigation for the sidebar within the "Shopping Worlds" displays the entire category tree including the currently matching subcategories and it's siblings. Especially shops with many top-level categories inflate the vertical display unnecessarily - increase the focus of your customers on the currently active area with this app like other big online shops already do it successfully. Use proven and successful practices of user guidance (shop usability) in your shop in a simple and uncomplicated way!

No configuration required

This app does not require any kind of configuration - if you have a shopping world layout with a sidebar navigation, the app will alter the default structure to only output the current category tree item and it's children.

This extension is available twice in the store - what's the difference? Shopware has two different systems for programming extensions: Plugins and apps. Plugins can only be used in "self-hosted" stores, apps in "self-hosted" as well in "cloud" stores. The plugin system is older and therefore all of our extensions are initially designed for this system. In order to support all Shopware environments (self-hosted and cloud), we subsequently design and transfer the extensions to the app system. As this differs technologically from the plugin system, the development of the extensions for both systems must be considered separately - for this reason, some extensions are available in two versions. Which version is right for you should be decided according to the installation environment and the future perspective/orientation of your shop. This extension is an "app" that supports "self-hosted" and "cloud" stores.
