Managing hundreds of products and want to instantly see which ones are profitable? Margin & Purchase Price in Product List adds four additional columns to your product listing — so you can see purchase prices, net prices, and profit margins without opening each product individually.

Features in Detail

Four Additional Columns

The plugin adds four columns after the price column in your product listing:

• Purchase Price — the stored purchase price of the product
• Net Price — automatically calculated from the gross price and tax rate
• Margin — the absolute profit margin (net price minus purchase price) with currency formatting
• Margin % — the percentage margin with color-coded indicators

Color-Coded Margin Indicators

The Margin % column displays colored indicators based on configurable thresholds:

• Red: Low margin (default: below 10%)
• Yellow: Medium margin (default: below 30%)
• Green: Good margin (default: 30% and above)

Customize the thresholds in the plugin configuration to match your business requirements.

Two Calculation Methods — Instant Switching

Choose the calculation method that fits your industry:

• Gross Margin (default): (Net Price − Purchase Price) / Net Price — common in retail
• Markup: (Net Price − Purchase Price) / Purchase Price — common in wholesale

Switching between methods takes effect immediately in the product listing — no re-indexing required. The plugin pre-computes both methods in the background and simply switches which column is displayed.

Server-Side Sorting & Filtering

Sort your product listing by clicking the column headers for purchase price, margin, or margin %. Sorting is server-side and works reliably across all pages — even with large product catalogs.

A purchase price filter is also available in the native Shopware filter panel. Filter specifically for products with or without a purchase price to quickly identify missing data.
