Description

Highlights

Speeds up the buying process as the customer is guided faster through the sales funnel to the checkout. Only there is personalized cross-selling offered (the customer is guided through the sales funnel faster than if the cross-selling is offered directly on the product page. )
In case of cart abandonment and return (thanks to the "permanent cart" option that saves the cart), you can still recommend additional items. This increases the cart value. This would not be possible if cross selling items were only displayed on the product page and not in the cart first.
Increase in value from the average shopping cart.
Selling similar products like: Accessories, same brand items and brands, similar accessories, etc.

The app for item recommendation in the shopping cart

We have created a cross selling app that allows you to view selected matching products in the off canvas.

Advantages of our app:

The plugin has two main functions:

1.Individual Cross Selling in Checkout / Off Canvas:

Allows selected products that are similar to the product in the cart to be displayed below the product in the cart.
Here is an example: a product in the shopping cart is a cell phone. Additional products are displayed directly under the product in the shopping cart that perfectly match this model, such as a matching protective glass or a perfect case for exactly this cell phone model.

To set up the matching cross selling products:

selects the products to be displayed under the respective product in the shopping cart. goes to the selected product under Products->Specifications->Additional Fields - selects the products to be displayed under the respective product in the shopping cart.

note: Once a Cross Selling product lands in your shopping cart, it will no longer be displayed under the selected product.

2. General Cross Selling in Checkout / Off Canvas:

Displays exactly the products you want to recommend to your customers.

For this purpose, the dynamic product group is used, which allows you to select the appropriate products accordingly.

The configuration in this case is done via the plugin setting.

Nicht 6.5 kompatibel, Dokumentation fehlerhaft, Codequalität unzureichend

Das Plugin soll mit 6.5.5.2 kompatibel sein, verweist aber in den Twig-Templates auf 6.4 Blöcke, die in 6.5 nicht mehr existieren. Somit werden die Offcanvas-Empfehlungen nicht ausgespielt.

Nach eigenen Anpassungen hätten diese angezeigt werden sollen, werden aber aufgrund einer nicht gesetzten dynamischen Produktgruppe nicht geladen.

Laut Dokumentation müssen nur die Produkte im Zusatzfeld hinterlegt werden.
