About the Extension

Netlaxy Left Sidebar

Personalisation of the left sidebar with up to 5 linked image boxes for the account pages, after user is logged in, and for the category pages, where layout "category page with sidebar" is assigned.

The 5 image boxes can be placed in the left sidebar area of the page, for example to reference some external partner, specific services or awards, to encourage trust or to advertise.

This plugin optimizes the appearance of the page sidebar, in the left area of the screen with : Up to 5 boxes to be inserted into the sidebar for branding for other purposes. Each box can be set up with image, text, link and a flag to set if the link should opened in a new window.

Note: The plugin doesn't generate thumbnails, but rather uses the original images, that are assigned with the image-urls. These images are placed as "contained Background" onto the link pane. To limit image quality losses, the images should be optimised for a height of 100px, and a width of 200px. Other dimensions can be enforced by external style adjustments.
