Let customers reach you on WhatsApp

This plugin adds a floating WhatsApp button to the bottom-right corner of your storefront. With a single tap your customers open a chat with you – the perfect low-barrier contact channel for questions, advice and support.

Set up in two minutes

After activation, enter your WhatsApp chat link (for example a https://wa.me/… URL) in the plugin configuration and clear the cache – done. Please note: the button is only displayed once a URL has been entered.

Fully configurable

Switch the button on or off directly in the plugin settings, per sales channel if you like – no template changes required. Any chat link works, including a WhatsApp Business short link or a wa.me URL with a pre-filled message.

Accessible & mobile-friendly

The button comes with a proper ARIA label and keyboard focus styles, and respects safe-area insets so it stays fully usable on notched mobile devices. It is positioned next to the scroll-up button so the two never overlap.

Lightweight & privacy-friendly

No external scripts are loaded and no tracking is added. The button is rendered server-side as part of your storefront and available in German and English.

Which Shopware versions are supported?

Shopware 6.6 and 6.7, PHP 8.2 or higher.

Are any external scripts or trackers loaded?

No. The button is rendered server-side in the storefront. No third-party script is embedded and no tracking is added. Customers only leave the shop for WhatsApp once they click.

Does it work with WhatsApp Business?

Yes. Any chat link can be used, including a WhatsApp Business short link or a wa.me URL with a pre-filled message.

Can I change the colour, size or position?

Yes. The styling is based on SCSS variables and a dedicated Twig block, both of which can be overridden in your own theme.

Does the button overlap the scroll-up button or a cookie banner?

The button is placed to the left of the scroll-up button and respects safe-area insets on notched devices. For custom overlays the position can be adjusted via SCSS.
