Configuration Guide – Nuonic Offers
This guide walks you through setting up the offer plugin step by step. The plugin is ready to use right after installation, and every option can be configured per sales channel.
1. Installation & activation
- Install and activate the plugin via Extensions > My extensions.
- On activation, the status workflow, the number range as well as the email templates and Flow Builder events are created automatically.
- Afterwards, clear the cache once under Settings > System > Caches & indexes.
2. Open the configuration
Go to Extensions > My extensions > Nuonic Offers > Configure. Select the desired sales channel at the top to set the options per channel.
3. Request on the product page
- Enable quick request modal – shows a trigger on the product page that opens a modal with quantity selection.
- Position on product detail page – either as a link next to availability or as a button below the add-to-cart button.
- Button / link text – label of the trigger, e.g. "Request a quote".
- Description text in modal – optional note shown inside the request modal.
4. Cart & pages
- Enable offer request from cart – adds a request button to the cart page.
- Enable offer request in off-canvas cart – shows the request button in the side cart as well.
- Enable multi-article request page – activates the page for composing multiple articles, including product search.
5. Customer account & guests
- Enable PDF download in customer account – allows downloading the offer PDF.
- Enable guest offers – allows requests without a customer account.
- Enable token links for guest offers – guests access their offer via a secure link.
6. Messaging
- Enable messaging in frontend – shows the message thread in the customer account.
- Allow customers to send messages – lets customers reply to offers.
7. Conversion & defaults
- Allow ordering despite insufficient stock – permits conversion into an order even when stock is too low.
- Default validity in days – pre-fills the "valid until" date of new offers.
- Default status after request – status a new request is created in (Request or In progress).
- Visibility / usability rule – optional rule controlling when the offer feature is available.
- Number range for offers – defines the offer number format, default AG10000 etc.
- Enable email sending – global switch for sending offer emails via the Flow Builder.
8. Set up the offer PDF
The offer PDF uses Shopware's standard document layout. Under Settings > Documents, configure your logo as well as company, footer and bank details – these are used automatically in the offer PDF.
9. Emails & Flow Builder
A Flow Builder event is available for every offer step: created, in progress, offered, accepted, declined, expired, ordered and new message. In the "Send email" action, choose Customer as the recipient – this delivers the message to the requester (the linked customer account or the email address entered in the form). Edit the bundled templates under Settings > Email templates.
10. Permissions (roles & privileges)
Under Settings > Users & permissions > Roles, assign the offer privileges: read, create, edit prices, approve, documents and convert. Only users with read permission see the Orders > Offers area.
11. Optional: Elasticsearch / OpenSearch
If admin search via Elasticsearch/OpenSearch is enabled, offers are indexed automatically. After enabling it, run the admin indexing once so existing offers become searchable as well.
