About the Extension
Not every customer buys right away. Many compare first, think it over or want to remember details for later. With this plugin, logged-in customers keep a private note per product, right on the product page: visible only to them and kept across all sessions. A simple complement to the wishlist that gives undecided customers a reason to come back.
What the plugin does
- Note field on the product page for logged-in customers
- Two display modes: input right inside the buy box or a trigger (button or link) that opens a modal
- Four positions for the note field: in the buy box, below the add-to-cart button, above or below the product number
- Optional note preview at the trigger plus a character counter on the input field
- Account page "My notes" with all of the customer's notes to edit and delete
- Configurable character limit per note
- Configuration per sales channel
Management in the admin
- Dedicated module with a list of all notes: customer, product, text, created and updated
- Dedicated notes tab right on the product and on the customer, in the same place as reviews or cross-selling
- Edit the note text in the admin
- Hide a note: it stays stored but is no longer shown to the customer
- Permission handling via the Shopware ACL system with view, edit and delete
Who it is for
Shops that want to give customers a private place to take notes on a product, as an addition or alternative to the wishlist. Everything is set up in the Shopware admin and works with any theme that respects the standard buy box blocks.
Privacy
Notes are private customer content. The shop owner can view and moderate them in the admin. Please mention this in your privacy policy.
