About the Extension

Review automation for the Flow Builder and Rule Builder

Review Extras extends the Shopware Flow Builder with three new triggers and the Rule Builder with six new conditions around product reviews. This enables workflows that react to every new review, every status change (moderation) or every content update - filtered fine-grained by product, customer, sales channel, rating or verified purchase.

The three Flow triggers

  • Review created - fires as soon as a customer submits a new review
  • Review status changed - fires when moderation publishes or hides a review
  • Review updated - fires when title, content or rating is changed

The six Rule conditions

  • Review rating - numeric comparison (=, !=, <, <=, >, >=)
  • Review product - in_list / not_in_list for specific products
  • Review customer - in_list / not_in_list for specific customers (e.g. VIP segments)
  • Review sales channel - fine-grained control per sales channel
  • Review status - visible / not visible (moderation)
  • Verified purchase - checks via database query whether a confirmed order exists for customer + product

Typical use cases

  • Email to the service team when a 1-2 star review arrives
  • Webhook notification (e.g. Slack/Teams via app system) for verified 5-star reviews as a marketing trigger
  • Set a customer tag when a specific product gets a bad review
  • Thank-you email to customers with verified purchase after publication of their review

Twig variables per trigger

Each trigger provides 12 scalar variables for direct use in mail templates and flow actions: reviewId, reviewTitle, reviewContent, reviewPoints, reviewStatus, productId, productName, customerId, customerName, salesChannelId, salesChannelName, languageId.

GDPR-compliant and without external services

The plugin does not send data outside, uses no trackers and requires no API keys. All evaluations happen exclusively in your Shopware system.
