About the Extension
Prepayment is popular — typing IBANs and payment references is not. This plugin shows an EPC QR code (GiroCode) on the order confirmation page: your customers scan it with their banking app and get the credit transfer completely pre-filled — recipient, IBAN, BIC, amount and a payment reference containing the order number. That means fewer typos, fewer wrong references and fewer payments you cannot match to an order.
How it works
- After checkout, a card with the QR code and the bank details in plain text appears on the confirmation page
- The QR code follows the official EPC069-12 standard (GiroCode) and is supported by all common European banking apps (Sparkasse, Volksbank, ING, DKB, comdirect, N26 and more)
- The card is only shown for the payment methods you select in the configuration — typically prepayment/bank transfer
Configuration
- Store recipient name, IBAN and BIC centrally — configurable per sales channel
- Payment reference as a template with placeholders for order number and customer number
- Optionally a separate reference code that is encoded in the QR code instead of the displayed text
Standard-compliant, without pitfalls
- The QR payload is built and validated server-side: spaces in the IBAN are stripped, the length limits of the standard are enforced, umlauts are encoded correctly
- With incomplete configuration or orders in a foreign currency no broken code is shown — the card is simply not rendered
- Orders without a payable amount produce an open-amount QR code, so the banking app asks for the sum
- The amount always equals the actually payable, rounded order total
Technology
- Rendered as SVG — razor sharp at any size, even when photographed from a screen
- No external services, no additional cookies, no data transferred to third parties
- Every part of the card is an overridable Twig block and can be adjusted by your theme
- Bilingual in German and English
Privacy
The QR code is generated entirely inside your shop. No order or customer data is transferred to external services.
