Automatic review requests, a dedicated review page and reward codes
Review requests reminds your customers to rate what they bought – at the right moment, with as little effort for the customer as possible, and optionally with a reward code as a thank you. The plugin controls the timing precisely, links to a dedicated, uncluttered review page and consistently uses native Shopware mechanisms: Flow Builder, DAL entities, mail templates and scheduled tasks. Compatible with Shopware 6.6 and 6.7.
Why this plugin?
- More reviews, less work: the request goes out automatically, the customer reviews in under a minute.
- The right moment: the reminder arrives once the customer has the goods – delayed and counted in business days.
- An extra incentive: optionally the customer receives a personal discount code after reviewing.
- As simple as possible for the customer: one link leads straight to every product of the order with a star form, no login.
- Update-safe & store-compliant: native flows, clean DAL entities, token-secured access, sanitised output.
The right moment: a configurable delay
You decide when the review request is sent. In the plugin settings you set a delay in days and optionally whether weekends are skipped – Saturday and Sunday then do not count. The countdown starts once the order reaches a chosen status combination: three selects for delivery, order and payment status (default: delivery status "shipped", the other two "any"). With all three on "any" the countdown starts from the order date; 0 days sends immediately. A scheduled task does the sending, and every order is asked at most once.
Two flows included – and full freedom beyond them
The plugin ships two Flow Builder triggers of its own and matching default flows, created disabled during installation:
- "Review request due" – fires at the calculated moment and sends the request e-mail.
- "Reward code due" – creates the personal discount code and sends it.
If you would rather decide the moment yourself, use the flow action "Schedule review request": it lets you attach the scheduling to any trigger – your own status, a rule or another business event – and override delay and business-day rule right there. As soon as an active flow uses that action, the automatic scheduling stands down on its own so the two cannot get in each other's way. Both sides point at each other in the Flow Builder so you always see which flow is in charge.
A dedicated review page – no login
- One link per order: the request e-mail links to a token-secured public page – the customer does not have to log in.
- Every product at a glance: the page lists the products of the order with image, product number and price.
- A comfortable star form: interactive star rating, title and text field with a live character counter, a progress bar and validation matching the Shopware defaults (title from 5, text from 40 characters).
- Safe attribution: submitted reviews are attributed to the order's customer; guest orders use the order's e-mail address, so nobody reviews the same product twice.
- Already reviewed stays out: on request the e-mail lists only products this customer has not reviewed yet.
A reward code as a thank you
Optionally the customer receives a personal discount code from a Shopware promotion with individual codes that you choose. You decide how often a customer may be rewarded – per order, per product and order, or per product overall – and whether only customers who had not reviewed that product before qualify. Each code is issued at most once, even when several events arrive at the same time. Only someone who actually bought the product, and whose order received a review request, is rewarded.
You decide the moment: by default the code is issued once the review is published – automatically through auto-approval or after your manual approval. A switch in the settings issues it already when the review is submitted, independently of approval.
Automatic approval
Set a minimum star rating from which new reviews are approved automatically (published) – per sales channel. With "disabled" every review keeps waiting for your manual approval.
Neutral, modern e-mails
Request and reward e-mail use a neutral, table-based layout that renders cleanly in Outlook and friends, with a clear button to the review page. {{ salesChannel.translated.name }} serves as sender and signature, and both mails render in the customer's language – not the language of the backend. Every text ships as a mail template and can be edited freely.
Guarded against misconfiguration
The plugin's templates are not sent when their data is missing: no reward mail without a code, no request mail without a valid review link – no matter where in a flow they sit. Instead of an unusable e-mail reaching the customer, you get an explaining entry in the log.
Standard API, security & store compliance
The plugin is built entirely on native Shopware mechanisms. The review page is secured by an opaque token; submitting a review runs as POST-only AJAX and is validated server-side. HTML-bearing output is rendered through sw_sanitize. All data lives in clean DAL entities and is reachable through the standard Admin API.
