About the Extension

The regulations that came into force with EU Regulation 2017/1369 can be implemented easily and conveniently with this plugin.

Define an energy efficiency class for each product.
Define the spectrum.
Display the “energy arrow” at all important points.
Mouseover effect (hover) to display the uploaded energy label inline
One click opens the label in a new tab
The link to the product data sheet is displayed directly below the arrow

Where can I configure the plugin?

The plugin can be easily and conveniently configured according to your preferences at any time via the plugin manager “Extensions” -> “My Extensions” -> “Energy Label & Product Data Sheets” -> “Configure.”

Why can't I select all classes in the “Spectrum to” field?

The negative limit of the spectrum is restricted to classes D, E, F, and G. If additional spectra with new limits are added in the future, this will be incorporated accordingly.

Which spectrum should I select?

You can find the appropriate spectrum on the product's official energy label.

Do I absolutely need to have an energy label to display the arrow?

Neither an energy label nor a product data sheet is necessary to use the arrow functionality. You only need to select an energy class in the product editing to display the arrow. Please note, however, that this does not meet legal requirements.

The link to the product data sheet is too long for my theme. Can I change it?

The link text “Product data sheet” can be changed at any time via “Settings” -> “Snippets” -> “BASE en-GB” -> ‘Edit’ -> Search for “polinet-energy-label.dataSheet”. Please note, however, that the display must still comply with all legal requirements even after changing the link text.
