About the Extension

Selling a set in plain Shopware means creating a second product: its own stock, its own price, its own maintenance. Change the price of one part and the set is wrong. Cross-selling only shows suggestions, without a discount and without a joint purchase. Product Bundles closes that gap: sets are built from the products you already maintain.

Sets from products you already have
A bundle is a combination of existing articles. Prices, stock, tax rates and shipping properties stay with the single product. The discount is granted as a percentage, a fixed amount or a fixed price, each per currency in gross and net - maintained exactly like product prices.

Customers put their own set together
Next to fixed sets there are dynamic ones: required components are always included, optional ones the customer selects or drops. Discount tiers reward larger sets, either by the number of different products or by the total quantity. A progress bar shows how many items are missing for the next level. If a component is a main product with variants, the customer picks size or colour right in the set box.

One item becomes a set
When a component is in the cart, the shop offers the matching set - with the extra cost, the savings and one click to swap. The suggestion appears on the cart page and in the offcanvas cart; you cap the number of suggestions in the configuration.

Stock, taxes and promotions stay correct
A set can only be bought as often as its scarcest component allows. If stock runs short, the quantity is reduced or the set is removed, with a notice for the customer and an entry in the log. Tax is calculated per set, either as the mixed rate of the components or with one rate for the whole set. Cart promotions do not touch sets by default, so the discount is never granted twice - you can switch that per set.

Visible across the shop
The set box sits on the product page of every component, below the buy box or below the page content. Product cards carry a badge with the highest saving. Every set can get its own page with an SEO URL, meta data and a sitemap entry. For shopping experiences there is a CMS element and a block, showing one set or a tile overview.

Traceable down to the invoice
Every set has a bundle number from its own number range. In the cart it is one position with its components expanded and a "set discount" row. In the order, the invoice, the delivery note and the cancellation, set and components appear indented with their own product numbers.

Administration and operation
The module lives under Catalogues. The price preview shows the set price per sales channel before you open the storefront. The statistics count views, cart adds, suggestions, orders, revenue and granted savings - per set and across all sets. Eleven settings can be overridden per sales channel, names and descriptions are translatable, four Store API routes serve headless shops, and more than 120 Twig blocks plus dedicated ACL privileges keep the extension adjustable.
