About the Extension
A banner that blocks, not just asks.
Shopware ships its own cookie notice. It lists cookies and stores a choice - but it does not hold scripts back. Google Analytics, the Meta pixel or an embedded YouTube video still load before anyone agreed. What counts legally is not what you saved, but what your visitor's browser actually loaded.
Cookie Consent Manager replaces the native banner with its own consent layer. Scripts are delivered only after the matching cookie group has been accepted. Every decision goes into the consent log, so you can prove consent under GDPR Art. 7.
Script blocking in three ways
Store a script URL or inline code directly on the cookie - it is injected after consent, at the position you choose. Mark scripts in your own templates with type="text/plain" and a group attribute. Whole markup blocks, a map embed for example, go into a with a group attribute.
Google Consent Mode V2 without the guesswork
Default signals sit in the head, ahead of every tag. An update follows each decision. The groups statistics, marketing and comfort are mapped to the Google signals. On top of that you get dataLayer events for your own GTM triggers and DOM events for your own JavaScript. Tag Manager users download a ready-made container with triggers, variables and tags and import it.
Maintain cookies instead of hunting them
Cookies known to the Shopware CookieProvider - core cookies and anything other plugins register - are picked up automatically and sorted into the right group. Your own entries always win. The cookie scanner fetches up to five representative storefront pages and reports which cookies are missing from the banner. 16 presets for GA4, Google Ads, Meta, Hotjar, Matomo, TikTok and others already carry provider, purpose and lifetime.
Built properly
All logic lives in Store API routes, the controller only calls them - which makes the plugin headless ready. Every banner text is a snippet, groups and cookies are translatable. Configuration is per sales channel. TTDSG mode gives accept and reject equal weight, so the banner cannot be attacked as a dark pattern. Two Flow Builder events react to granted and revoked consent.
Basic and Premium
Banner, script blocking, cookie management, consent log, Google Consent Mode V2 and the Store API are included. Premium is unlocked through an in-app purchase inside the administration - no licence file, no reinstall. It adds the design editor with live preview, cookie scanner, presets, iframe blocker, consent statistics, A/B tests, geo targeting, GTM container import and multi-domain synchronisation.
