About the Extension

Product Information: “Invite Users to Shopware via Email”

This Shopware 6 plugin allows you to quickly and securely create new user accounts via email invitation. Instead of manually entering user data, an invitation is sent with a predefined role and username. The invited user completes their information independently – including setting their own password.

Purpose

The plugin significantly simplifies user management – especially in environments with changing access needs, such as external support, plugin providers, or new team members. With the email-based invitation, there is no need to manually create names, passwords, or other details – the invited user takes care of it. This reduces errors, saves time, and increases security.

Creating new user accounts for employees or partners

User management with minimal administrative effort

Usage

After installation and activation of the plugin, a new user can be added in the admin area via
System > Users > Invite User.
In the input form, you define the email address, username, and role. The invitation link is automatically sent via email. The corresponding email template is installed with the plugin and is available in both German and English.

Limitations / Notes

The invitation link is only valid until the specified expiration date
Only the email address is required – all other details are completed by the user
The plugin does not replace the user roles management but adds an invitation-based option to it

Endlich gibt es sowas! Schnell sind neue Benutzer fürs Admin eingeladen und wir sparen uns das lästige Neuanlegen von Benutzeraccounts. Wirklich gut fanden wir es auch nie, Passwörter vergeben und verschicken zu müssen. Auch das ist passé, vielen herzlichen Dank!!
