About the Extension

Purpose of the Plugin

The plugin extends the Shopware cart with additional cross-selling functions. Relevant product recommendations can be displayed both in the off-canvas cart and on the full cart page. This allows accessories, similar products, or individually selected products to be presented directly in the cart.

Cross-Selling in the Cart

The cross-selling display can be activated and configured separately for the off-canvas cart and the cart page. For both areas, it can be specified whether accessories, similar products, or both product types should be displayed. In the off-canvas cart, a horizontal or vertical layout can also be selected.

Flexible Product Selection

The displayed recommendations can be taken from the cross-selling groups assigned to the respective product. Alternatively, specific products can be selected and displayed independently of the current cart contents. A dynamic product group can also be configured as a fallback if no suitable cross-selling products are available.

Direct Add-to-Cart Function

An “Add to cart” button can optionally be displayed for the recommended products. This allows customers to add further products directly from the cross-selling section without having to open the corresponding product detail page.

Automatic Filtering of Recommendations

Products already contained in the cart are not displayed again as recommendations. Duplicate product recommendations are removed, and unavailable products are excluded from the output. For product variants, the cross-selling assignments of the corresponding parent product can also be taken into account.

Normalerweise verfasse ich keine Bewertungen, aber für dieses echt geile Plugin mache ich mal eine Ausnahme!
Einfach im Setup, optisch sehr ansprechende Darstellung von Cross Selling Produkten im Warenkorb. Zusammen mit dem Support konnte ich schnell eine Inkompatibilität mit einem anderen Plugin in meinem Shop lösen und seither läuft das Plugin super! 5 Sterne definitv. Vielen Dank Jungs und Mädels

Gute Erweiterung mit vielen individuelle Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten. Vor allem bei Produkten mit wichtigem Zubehör ist das Plugin eine definitive Bereicherung. Der Hersteller antwortete schnell und mein Pluginnpassung-wunsch wurde zeitnah umgesetzt. Merci!

Plugin funktioniert super und Cross-Selling ist im Shop sehr schön dargstellt. Richtig konfiguriert hilft es Kunden geschickt, weitere passende Produkte zu finden.

Installation

Open the Plugin Manager via Settings > System > Plugins
Upload, install, and activate the plugin

Create Cross-Selling for a Product

Catalogues > Products > Open product > Cross-Selling

To display product-specific recommendations, the corresponding cross-selling groups must be created and activated directly for the respective product.

For accessory products, a group named “Accessories” can be created, for example.
For alternative or comparable products, a group named “Similar products” can be created, for example.
The names must match the cross-selling names defined in the plugin configuration.
Products can be selected manually or through a dynamic product group.

Plugin Configuration

Extensions > My Extensions > Advanced Cart Cross-Selling

Cross-Selling Names

Name of the accessories group: Enter the name of the cross-selling group used for accessories, for example “Accessories”.
Name of the similar products group: Enter the name of the cross-selling group used for similar products, for example “Similar products”.

Off-Canvas Cart

Display cross-selling: Activates or deactivates the display of product recommendations in the off-canvas cart.
Display accessories: Displays products from the defined cross-selling group for accessories.
Display similar products: Displays products from the defined cross-selling group for similar products.
Slider orientation: Defines whether the product recommendations are displayed horizontally or vertically.
Define specific products: Allows specific products to be selected and displayed independently of the current cart contents.
Dynamic product group: Defines a dynamic product group whose products are displayed when no suitable cross-selling products are available.
Display “Add to cart” button: Allows recommended products to be added directly to the cart.

Cart Page

Display cross-selling: Activates or deactivates the display of product recommendations on the full cart page.
Display accessories: Displays products from the defined cross-selling group for accessories.
Display similar products: Displays products from the defined cross-selling group for similar products.
Define specific products: Allows specific products to be selected and displayed independently of the current cart contents.
Dynamic product group: Defines a dynamic product group whose products are displayed when no suitable cross-selling products are available.
Display “Add to cart” button: Allows recommended products to be added directly to the cart.

Product Selection Priority

If specific products are selected in the plugin configuration, these products are displayed.
If no specific products are configured, the cross-selling assignments of the products in the cart are used.
If no suitable cross-selling products are found, products from the configured dynamic product group are displayed.
