About the Extension

Purpose of the plugin

Shopware does not offer a standard option for searching for products by colour or displaying them sorted by colour. This is a disadvantage for customers who are looking for specific colours and makes it difficult to select products.

We have therefore developed a plugin that makes product searches much more intuitive:

Automatic colour display in Shopping Experiences
The plugin adds a new element to the Shopping Experiences that automatically displays all colours stored for products via the Shopware colour property. Each colour is displayed as a clickable colour field – without any manual configuration.

Direct navigation to colour-related product lists
By clicking on a colour, the user is automatically redirected to a category page where all products with the selected colour are displayed. This enables simple, visual navigation and ensures an inspiring shopping experience.

The entire process runs completely automatically – colours are recognised, grouped and displayed without any additional maintenance effort.
