About the Extension
Normally, Shopware 6 calculates a specific delivery date in the shopping cart and checkout (e.g., “Delivery period: 28/04/2026 - 30/04/2026”). This often feels technically rigid and leaves little room for the actual logistics reality.This plugin fundamentally changes that behavior: It hides the calculated date and instead displays the global delivery time stored for the product (e.g., “Available, delivery time: 1-2 days”).
This information is displayed consistently throughout the entire purchasing process—from the off-canvas shopping cart to the shopping cart page and all the way to the order completion page. This provides customers with consistent and easy-to-understand information about delivery times.
You can also choose whether to display information about products that qualify for free shipping.
Prerequisite: In the admin settings under “Cart Settings,” the option “Show delivery time in cart” must be enabled. The plugin then handles the rest and replaces the date with the delivery time text.
Please note, this plugin was designed for the standard responsive theme. With other themes and/or when using additional plugins, further adjustments may be necessary.
