About the Extension

Seidl Voice Chatbot transforms your Shopware 6 storefront into a conversational shopping experience. Customers can speak or type to search for products, add items to the cart, check their cart contents, and look up order history and tracking — all without leaving the page.

The plugin uses the browser's built-in Web Speech API for voice input and the SpeechSynthesis API for text-to-speech readback, meaning no paid API keys are needed. For shops that prefer server-side transcription, an optional self-hosted Whisper endpoint can be configured.

Responses are streamed with a natural typing effect via SSE, and the chatbot automatically detects and replies in the customer's language (EN, DE, FR, ES, NL supported out of the box). Access can be restricted per sales channel to guests only, logged-in customers, or specific customer groups.

An integrated analytics endpoint provides real usage statistics including query volume, language breakdown, response types, and daily trends — accessible directly from the admin.
