The Image Alt Tag Tracker plugin gives you full control over your media library's alt tags — directly from the Shopware Administration. It scans all uploaded images, identifies which ones are missing alt tags, and lets you generate them automatically from the filename. No external API.

How it works:
The plugin reads your image filenames and converts them into clean, human-readable alt tags. For example, "blue-running-shoes_400x600.jpg" becomes "blue running shoes". You control the format — choose between hyphens, underscores, spaces, or title case. Add prefixes or suffixes to match your brand. Remove trailing numbers automatically.
Your Alt Tag Dashboard:
A dedicated page in the Administration shows you everything at a glance: total images, how many have alt tags, how many are missing, and your completion percentage. Filter by status, select images individually or in bulk, and generate or remove alt tags with a single click.
Works where you already are:
Beyond the dedicated dashboard, the plugin integrates directly into the Media Manager. Select multiple images and generate alt tags in bulk from the sidebar. Or use the quick-info panel on any single image to generate its alt tag instantly — no need to leave your current workflow.
