About the Extension

Thank You Page Effects turns the moment right after checkout into a small celebration — confetti or fireworks play automatically on your Shopware thank-you page, with no theme changes or custom coding needed.

Choose Confetti or Fireworks as your effect. Confetti supports four particle shapes — squares, circles, stars, and waves — and when you select more than one, they're distributed in exact even proportions (50/50 for two shapes, 33/33/33 for three) rather than random-looking clumps. Fireworks adds a warm flash-of-fire glow at every rocket burst for extra impact.

Built to feel intentional, not gimmicky. Both effects fade in and out using a perceptually-corrected curve, so the animation never looks like it "sticks" and then suddenly disappears. The animation plays exactly once per order — reloading or refreshing the thank-you page won't replay it — and it automatically respects a visitor's "reduce motion" accessibility setting.

Everything is configurable per sales channel using Shopware's own built-in configuration override, so different storefronts can run different effects (or none at all) without any extra setup. A "Checkout Konfetti" shortcut is added straight to the Marketing menu for fast access to settings.

Animation libraries are lazy-loaded, so shops that disable the effect pay zero page-weight cost. No page reloads, no core template overrides — just a clean extension point on the checkout thank-you page.

Which page does the animation play on?

Currently the checkout thank-you page (order confirmation) only. Additional pages may be added in a future update without changing this setting's structure.

Will the animation replay if the customer refreshes the page?

No — it plays exactly once per order, tracked per browser session, so reloading the thank-you page won't trigger it again.

Does it slow down page loads?

No. The animation libraries are lazy-loaded and only fetched when the effect is actually enabled and about to play.

Which Shopware versions are supported?
