About the Extension

Full control over your Shopware sitemap

The Shopware sitemap is generated automatically by default. However, in many projects it is necessary to remove specific URLs, page types or URL structures from the sitemap or to add custom entries manually. This is exactly where this extension comes in.

With Sitemap Control you can flexibly modify your sitemap.xml and decide exactly which URLs should appear in your sitemap and which should not.

Exclude or add URLs easily

The extension allows you to remove individual URLs or complete URL structures from the sitemap. This is especially useful for filter pages, search pages, legal pages or other content that should not be indexed by search engines.

At the same time, you can add custom URLs manually to the sitemap and define individual values for priority and changefreq.

Flexible filtering using regular expressions

In addition to exact URLs, you can use regular expressions (regex) to automatically filter entire URL groups. This makes it easy to exclude pagination pages, filtered URLs or specific product groups from the sitemap.

Different rules per sales channel

Modifiers can be limited to specific sales channels. This allows you to define individual sitemap rules for different domains or sales channels.

How can I remove specific URLs from the sitemap?

You can exclude URLs either by entering an exact path or by using regular expressions. Make sure to enter the URLs without the domain, for example: /imprint /privacy-policy /terms-and-conditions If your sitemap is not updated live, you will need to regenerate it after making changes.

Can I assign a custom priority to individual pages or landing pages?

Yes. First remove the URL from the sitemap, then add it again with your preferred priority and change frequency.

Why are excluded URLs still showing up in the sitemap?

Please check the following: - The URLs were entered without the domain - The regular expression is written correctly - The modifier is active - The correct sales channel is selected - The sitemap has been regenerated - There is no conflict with another sitemap plugin

Can I use different settings for different sales channels?

Yes. Modifiers can be limited to specific sales channels. Just make sure the modifier is assigned to the correct sales channel.

Is there a limit to how many URLs I can exclude?

There is no fixed limit in the plugin. However, if you need to exclude a large number of URLs, using regular expressions is usually the better and more efficient approach.
