About the Extension
Increase your sales by letting customers put together their own mix. Instead of choosing one product from a list, they walk through a few steps and build something that is theirs — a nut mix, a tea blend, a gift box, a spice set, a case of wine.
Built from steps you define
A configurator is a sequence of steps, and you decide what each one asks for. One step picks the nuts, the next the spices, the last the packaging. Every step draws its products from a dynamic product group, so the selection keeps itself up to date as your catalogue changes — there is no separate list to maintain.
Each step can carry its own filters, a minimum and a maximum by quantity or by weight, and an optional name the customer gives to their creation. Availability rules from the Shopware Rule Builder decide who gets to see a configurator at all, so you can run one for retail customers and a different one for B2B.
The discount barometer does the upselling
Reward a bigger mix with a bigger discount. You define the tiers — from 100g ten percent, from 200g twenty, from 300g thirty — and the storefront shows customers a barometer that fills as they add products, along with how close the next tier is. The discount is applied to the mix immediately, so the total they see is always the real one.
A shared mix is a recommendation that sells itself
Every mix has its own link. Customers can send theirs by email, WhatsApp or Facebook, and whoever opens it lands on a filled configurator rather than an empty one. This works for anonymous visitors too, with no account and no login.
Nothing exotic in your orders
A finished mix arrives in the cart as one line item with the chosen products as its children — and those children are ordinary Shopware products. Your ERP, your picking process and your invoices see exactly what they always see. Shopware promotion codes apply to mixes as well and stack on top of the barometer discount.
The configurator is placed through Shopping Experiences like any other CMS block, and a Store API is available if you run a headless frontend.
