About the Extension
For years, we've been discussing the fact that we're overusing our natural resources. Regularly, we have already used our natural resources for a year in June. On average, a person consumes 22kg of raw materials per day. Sustainability is a topic that is on the agenda. And yet we keep consuming.
It's time to do something about it and give something back to the forests. That's why we created the app to make it easier to do something sustainable.
Show your customers that responsibility starts with online commerce. Set a good example and use the app for free for your store.
What is Tree per order?
Tree per order is an extension for your Shopware store, with which you as a store owner and your customers can do something good for our forests sustainably. Give something back because we all us daily a variety of raw materials.
When your customers are about to complete the order, they can optionally add a tree to the shopping cart for little money. Over time, when the order is marked as "Completed", an order is created to plant a tree. With TreeMates it happens automatically via an API call. Then once a month you have to manually transfer the collected donation money to the donation provider.

How does the connection to TreeMates work?
Tree planting with TreeMates works automatically and is therefore currently our recommended provider. To use TreeMates you need to create a free account first: https://www.treemates.net/en/.
With TreeMates, it is also possible for your customers to receive a donation certificate via email when the order is marked as "Completed". This email will also include a downloadable PDF.

No problem! With "Tree per order," you can use any organization or club you want as a vendor.
