About the Extension
A shop that knows who just logged in should say so. This app greets returning customers by name in the account area — "Good morning, Mrs Meier" first thing, "Welcome back, Max" later in the day — instead of showing everyone the same anonymous heading.
Personal, and correctly personal
Build the greeting from first name, last name or the full salutation, so it reads the way you would actually address that customer. Formal for a B2B shop, first-name for a lifestyle brand — you write the wording, the app fills in the data.
Aware of the time of day
Morning, afternoon and evening can each have their own greeting, chosen from the visitor's own browser time rather than your server's. A customer shopping late at night gets a greeting that fits, not one that belongs to a different timezone.
Every language you sell in
Greetings are translatable like any other text in Shopware, so each sales channel and each language gets its own wording rather than an awkward machine translation of yours.
Sensible when data is missing
Not every customer record is complete, and a greeting with an empty name looks worse than no greeting at all. Define fallback messages and the app uses them whenever the personal data it needs is not there.
All in one place
Every variant is maintained centrally in the Administration. No template changes, nothing to redo after a theme update.
This is a cloud app: it runs on our infrastructure and works on Shopware Cloud as well as self-hosted shops.
