About the Extension
Webshop Radar — the agent for your central Shopware monitoring
This plugin is the shop-side interface for Webshop Radar, a SaaS dashboard for Shopware agencies, freelancers, and multi-shop operators. Once installed, the Webshop Radar portal can monitor your shop, trigger plugin updates, and retrieve system-related diagnostics — without SSH access, without backend logins, and without checking each shop individually.
What the plugin does on your shop
- Provides a read-only API under /api/_action/webshop-radar/.
- Delivers on request: installed plugins including versions, update availability from the Shopware Store, scheduled task status, worker queue backlog, dead messages, PHP and CLI diagnostics, as well as a var/log sample.
- Optionally executes whitelisted CLI commands: cache:clear, plugin:refresh, theme:compile, dal:refresh:index, and scheduled-task:run.
- Optionally downloads and installs plugin updates using Shopware Store authentication (download via ExtensionDownloader, lifecycle handled through bin/console plugin:update).
Requirement: a Webshop Radar account
The plugin itself is only the interface layer. The full feature set — multi-shop overview, PageSpeed history, Google Search Console integration, customer notifications, uptime alerts, plugin update audit logs, and white-label emails — is available through the Webshop Radar dashboard at webshop-radar.com . The plugin is connected there via API token.
A trial period is available. The plugin itself contains no advertising.
Security
- Authentication uses the standard Shopware Admin API token — the plugin does not add any custom authentication mechanisms.
- CLI commands and plugin updates are separate permissions, both enabled by default and configurable at any time in the plugin settings.
- Commands are restricted to a fixed internal whitelist — no unrestricted shell access and no arbitrary command execution.
- No data leaves the shop without an explicit pull request from the dashboard (no phone-home functionality, no telemetry, no cron-based reporting).
Built for multi-hoster environments
Automatic PHP CLI detection for Plesk, cPanel, Mittwald, All-Inkl, Profihost, CloudLinux, and standard LAMP setups. For unusual hosting environments, the PHP CLI binary path can be overridden manually in the plugin settings.
