The parent product as a stand-alone page
By default, a variant product in Shopware has no detail page of its own: visiting the parent automatically redirects to the first variant. This creates duplicate content, unstable URLs and spreads your SEO power across many near-identical pages.
SINEOS Parent Canonical reverses this behaviour: the parent product is rendered as a full, stand-alone product page – with its own name, price, image and description. No variant is pre-selected; the customer chooses deliberately.
Clean SEO without duplicate content
All variants set their canonical tag to the parent page. Google consolidates all ranking signals onto a single, stable URL (e.g. /t-shirt) instead of an interchangeable variant (/t-shirt-red-m) that may sell out or be deleted.
Aggregated reviews
Reviews from all variants are merged onto the parent page – more stars and ratings in one central place.
Full control: opt-in per product
The plugin only takes effect on parent products where you explicitly enable it via a custom field. By default, everything stays at Shopware's standard behaviour – you decide per product.
Robust & fail-safe
On any unexpected error, the plugin automatically and gracefully falls back to Shopware's default behaviour – your product page never breaks. Compatible with Shopware 6.6 and 6.7.
