About the Extension

The Shopping Experience Calendar plugin allows you to control which CMS Shopping Experience is displayed for specific categories on specific dates.


A new calendar-based module is added to the Shopware 6 administration, powered by an extended calendar view. You can create one or multiple events per day and define a start and end date for each event. Each event can be assigned to one or more categories and linked to a CMS Shopping Experience (CMS page).


When a customer visits a category in the storefront, the plugin automatically checks if an active calendar event exists for that category and date. If so, the assigned Shopping Experience is dynamically loaded instead of the default layout.


This makes it easy to plan promotions, seasonal layouts, campaigns, or temporary category designs without manual switching. Cache invalidation is handled automatically to ensure changes are visible immediately.


The plugin works fully within Shopware standards and integrates seamlessly with existing categories, CMS pages, and the admin interface.
