Every page change in a Shopware listing is a full reload: the shopper waits, loses their place, and — especially on mobile — often never taps page 2 at all. Your products past the first page barely get seen.

Ultimate Infinite Scrolling replaces classic pagination with continuous browsing — the pattern shoppers know from big brands. Three pagination modes, one plugin; you choose per sales channel:

Load-more button — shoppers load the next batch on demand, with a "48 of 213 products" progress indicator.
Auto scroll — the next batch loads automatically as they approach the end of the listing (threshold configurable).
Hybrid — auto-load a set number of batches, then switch to the button, so the footer stays reachable. The pattern large fashion retailers use.

The most common complaint about infinite-scroll plugins: a shopper opens a product, taps back — and lands at the top of a collapsed list. That is precisely the problem this plugin was built around. Product page, back button, and the shopper is looking at the exact product they left, at the same position on screen. It works after a full reload too, and it never eagerly re-fetches every page below to get there.

Installation

Install and activate the plugin under Extensions > My extensions. That is the whole setup: infinite scrolling is active immediately with sensible defaults (hybrid mode). No theme changes, no template edits, no further steps required.

Configuration

Open Extensions > My extensions > Ultimate Infinite Scrolling > … > Configuration. Use the sales channel selector at the top to configure all sales channels at once or override the settings for a single channel.

General

Enable infinite scrolling (default: on) — replaces classic pagination on category and listing pages. Shoppers without JavaScript automatically get the standard pagination.
Loading mode (default: Hybrid) — how the next products are loaded:
- Load-more button — shoppers load the next batch by clicking a button with a progress indicator.
- Auto scroll — the next batch loads automatically as the shopper approaches the end of the listing.
- Hybrid (recommended) — a set number of batches load automatically, then the button takes over so the footer stays reachable.
Auto-loaded batches before button (hybrid) (default: 3) — hybrid mode only: how many batches load automatically before switching to the button.
Trigger distance (px) (default: 400) — how many pixels before the end of the listing the next batch starts loading. Increase for earlier, more seamless loading; decrease to load closer to the end.

Feedback & Navigation

Show progress text (default: on) — displays "48 of 213 products" below the listing.
Show progress bar (default: on) — a visual progress bar next to the progress text.
Restore position on return (default: on) — the browser back button returns the shopper to the exact product they left; loaded products and scroll position are restored, even after a full reload.

Scope

Apply to search results (default: on) — also replaces pagination on the search results page.

Good to know

The plugin enhances Shopware's standard listing — the crawlable pagination stays server-rendered underneath, so SEO is unaffected.
It binds to the standard listing markup. If your theme customizes that markup heavily, the plugin steps aside and the stock pagination keeps working.
All storefront texts are snippet-based (English and German included) and can be adjusted under Settings > Shop > Snippets.

Will this hurt my SEO?

No. The crawlable pagination and real ?p= URLs your shop has today stay exactly as they are — server-rendered and visible to crawlers. The plugin enhances the experience client-side only.

Does it work with my theme?

It binds to Shopware's standard listing markup rather than replacing templates. Any theme that renders a standard product listing is supported. If the markup is heavily customized, the plugin steps aside and stock pagination continues to work.
