Is the Rule Simulator really useful?

Yes. Most production bugs in other reward plugins come from rules behaving differently than expected. The Simulator lets you test against real customer data before activating, so you catch conflicts and edge cases first.

Can I write custom rules?

Yes. The Rule Builder reuses Shopware's native condition system, so any custom Rule Builder rule you've written for Promotions will work here.
