Data Quality – Automated Product Catalog Check

About the Extension

How many of your products are currently missing an image? How many are active but priced at zero? Which ones are invisible in your category structure? Most shop operators don't know the answers — because there is no tool that automatically checks these things.

Data Quality closes this gap: the app checks your entire product catalog against 9 configurable quality rules, calculates a weighted overall score from 0 to 100, and shows you directly inside the Shopware Admin where immediate action is needed.

The 9 quality rules in detail

• Products without image (Critical, weight 8) — Active products with no assigned media. For variant products, variants inherit the check from the parent.
• Empty or too short description (Warning, weight 5) — Minimum length is freely configurable (default: 50 characters).
• Missing SEO data (Warning, weight 5) — Meta title or meta description not populated
• Price equals zero on active products (Critical, weight 9) — A frequent configuration error: active products with a sales price of 0.00.
• Missing EAN / GTIN (Info, weight 2) — Important for Google Shopping, price comparison portals and online marketplaces.
• Missing manufacturer (Warning, weight 4) — Products without a brand assignment make filter navigation and brand campaigns harder.
• Inactive products with stock > 0 (Info, weight 2) — Capital tied up in deactivated products that still carry remaining stock.
• Products without category (Critical, weight 7) — Products that simply cannot be found in the storefront.
• Missing translations (Warning, weight 4) — Incomplete language versions in multilingual shops

The dashboard at a glance

• Integrated directly in the Shopware Admin under Catalogue > Data Quality
• Score display as a color-coded gauge (0–100) with traffic-light colors for instant assessment.
• Trend chart: score development over the last 30 days at a glance.
• Summary cards: number of affected products per severity level (Critical / Warning / Info).
• Issue table: filterable and paginated, with a direct link to the affected product.
