About the Extension
Our app "Article number direct URL" allows your customers to access the detail pages of all your published products using a short URL including the article number.
After the installation please specify the path for the direct links to the desired pattern within the app configuration. You can choose any (available) path except for "/".Examples:
- The setting /articlenumber/ will lead to URLs like this: www.myshopwareshop.nl/articlenumber/43921
- The setting /qrcode/ will lead to URLs like this: www.myshopwareshop.nl/qrcode/43B02G12
Whenever your customers access the hereby generated direct URL they will be forwarded to the detail page of the desired product without any detours or an unnecessary amount of redirects.
Using the option to directly access articles this way opens up a bunch of possible benefits that you can bring to your customers, e.g.:
• QR codes on product boxes or on ads
• Short links in your catalogues and in advertising materials
• direct access to a product within emails and Helpdesk replies
